Niles INTELLIPAD CI SOLO Features Let The Force Of Automation Be With You Just like Han and Chewie, Niles' IntelliPad® Ci Solo Master Keypad and ZR4630 Multizone Receiver system are inseparable. The Solo Master Keypad work seamlessly with the ZR4630 to keep full system automation within arm's reach. It also allows you to design your own layout: want the Solo Master near the front door? Next to the bed? Out in the garage? You got it. If you've got a gangbox and CAT-5 cable wired, you're ready and set to install the Solo Master. Let Niles Push Your Buttons The Solo Master comes with four Master Keys. Three of these are fully programmable. The fourth Master Key is the dedicated switch for the ZR4630's AM/FM tuner. Use the Master Keys to customize access to your home theater component sources. You can go as far as programming a Master Key to turn on a component and select your favorite channel or track — all at the push of one single button. Now what could be better than having "I Will Survive" ready and waiting for you every day after work?Along with the Master Keys, the Solo Master has local zone volume and mute controls. The Off button will turn off the local zone or, if held down, the whole system. A set of four cursor keys allow you to customize how they interact with the Master Key components. For instance, the left and right arrows can be used to scroll forward and back through a song, while the up and down arrows can be used to change tracks. Expandable, Not Expendable You're not going to out-grow your Niles' multizone system any time soon because it's easily expandable. You can install one keypad for each of the standard six zones on the ZR4630, or utilize the optional Expander accessory (sold separately) to add two more keypad inputs per zone.
