One advantage of a Niles MultiZone system is that all your components can stay hidden in a closet or another out-of-the-way location, while users can control playback in each room with a decor-friendly, in-wall Intellipad Ci keypad or touchscreen (required, sold separately). Plus, the ZR-4630 stores all the remote codes from your connected components in its own built-in memory, so rather than having to program the codes into each keypad independently, you can just program the receiver once — a big time-saver when it comes to installation. The receiver passes the commands from the keypads on to your connected components using infrared flashers (required, sold separately). And you can connect up to three '4630 receivers together for distributing music to as many as 18 different rooms.
