 ROTEL RP-3000 Turntable Shure SME Series 3009  ToneArmA very nice audiophile turntable that needs a bit of work and set-up effort.Study the photos below and ask any questions before you bid,The SME series of tone arms are high quality and offer a technical aesthetic that please the ear and the eye.There is much to be found on the internet, I recommend you Google this particular model and educate yourself.The Tone arm assembly seems to be fine except that it is missing a set screw for the small counter weight.There is some play in the tonearm when you pull up on it, but I *think* this is normal.The tonearm head/shell  is fitted with a grado G-1 cartridge BUT, the stylus is broken. Replacement can be had for about $100.The Rotel RP-300 is a direct drive machine and is also very highly regarded.I fit the tonearm for testing with my own tonearm head . I noticed that the strobe light was not working.I played an album and notice some wowing (speed variation) that went away after a few minutes, I am certain this machine has not been powered up in many years so it may or may not be a lubrication issue, I am selling this unit AS-IS so bid appropriately.The cover has some light scratches but is otherwise intact and good looking. I did nothing extra to this unit other than clean the nooks and crannies with a q-tip, alcohol and some Pledge on the base and the cover. I removed the bottom panel to reattach the tone arm plug and take photos.I will pack this up carefully and ship it to you intact.It is fairly heavy, I will work out the shipping costs, but you can figure under $30. to the lower 48 states for S/H/insurance for ground transport.Photos:
